WWII Days

Every fall, Midway Village Museum in Rockford Illinois hosts the largest World War II re-enactment in the Midwest. The event features several battles representing how the war was fought in Europe. Town skirmishes and field battles including pyrotechnics and military vehicles are highlights. The images were taken during one of the field battles in 2016. Here the Germans are battling the Allies.
