Est. 1850
Fond childhood memories are the motivation for this work. growing up, I loved going to my grandparents' farm. Exploring the barns and trekking through the fields down to the creek located at the edge of the property were favorites. This homestead was established in the 1850s and the original barn still stands. Although, through the years it has changed and deteriorated as time has not always been a friend. This became evident when going through photographs of the past eighty plus years, showed the progression of rust, overgrowth, and overall degradation. Sometimes you don't realize what you have until its too late. Capturing memories in photographs allow one to relive those moments again and again. The human brain may falter on the details, a photograph preserves them in clarity.
